"To promote people, to shape technology" is the motto of the Dr. Reinold Hagen Stiftung, founded in Bonn in 1988, which is now one of the largest opera-tive foundations in Germany. It is an independent and non-profit foundation that develops its initiatives in the fields of vocational education and training, research and teaching in the field of plastics technologies and mechanical engineering.
The Dr. Reinold Hagen Foundation operates an over-the-job training workshop for industrial and technical initial training in the metal, electrical, plastics and IT sectors. For the research and teaching business, the foundation also maintains a pilot plant for plastics processing. A laboratory for material knowledge, a separate tool shop and an area for design and simulation tasks complete the wide range of services.
